Nur Aydın Evrensel

Nur Aydın Evrensel, born in 1984 in İzmir, began her artistic journey at İzmir Işılay Saygın Anatolian Fine Arts High School. In 2005, she received the "Youngest International Artist" award for her figurative works in an international project held in Europe. During her student years, her works were included in private collections in Germany and England. In 2006, she graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department. Her works have been exhibited both nationally and internationally.

Through her figurative works, she critically explores the influence of power and authority on social and daily life while incorporating her unique interpretation into classical canvas painting, offering a contemporary perspective on figurative art. By rejecting certain conventional elements and rules, she adapts classical art to the present day, bringing a fresh interpretation to figurative painting. She currently continues to produce her works in her own studio in İzmir.
